SUBJECT: Flamingo Park— Baseball Outfiel Netting Installation
The purpose of this LTC is to notify the City Commission that the Parks and Recreation
Department will be installing a netting system along the outfield at the Flamingo Park
baseball stadium.
The project is expected to begin on May 30, 2019, and will take approximately two weeks
to complete, weather permitting.
The work will not require any park closures but may affect some programming at the soccer
field, during the first few days of the installation. Coordination is taking place through the
Parks Athletics Manager to minimize the impact on programming.
