A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF LEASE
AMENDMENT WITH INTERNATIONAL EXPOSITIONS, INC.
FOR USE OF THE NORTH AND SOUTH HALLS OF THE
MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION CENTER ON JANUARY 5-14 ,
1986.
WHEREAS, the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH entered into a lease
agreement with
INTERNATIONAL EXPOSITIONS, INC.
hereinafter referred to as LESSEE, said agreement having been
approved by the City Commission on
JUNE 5, 1985
for use of certain premises and facilities of the City of Miami
Beach, to-wit:
NORTH AND SOUTH HALLS
OF THE MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION CENTER
for the event known as:
AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION FOR TRAVEL
ON: JANUARY 5-14 , 1986
LESSEE WILL DELETE USE DATES OF THE SOUTH HALL ONLY,
JANUARY 5-14, 1986 BUT WILL ADD USE OF THE SOUTH HALL
SECOND FLOOR WRAPAROUND (5 ROOMS) JANUARY 8-12, 1986.
WHEREAS, said LESSEE has requested an amendment to said
agreement as set forth in Commission Memorandum No. 650-85 , a
copy of which is included in the agenda for the meeting at which
this Resolution was adopted, and
WHEREAS, all other terms and conditions of the existing
agreement shall remain the same, and
WHEREAS, an appropriate Amendment to Agreement, signed
by the said LESSEE and approved as to form and legal sufficiency
by the City Attorney, is attached hereto and made part hereof, the
provisions of which are familiar to the City Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Amendment to the
existing lease agreement as set forth in said Commission
Memorandum be and the same is hereby accepted and approved, and
the Mayor and City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and
directed to execute said Amendment to Agreement in the name of and
on behalf of the City.

AMENDMENT Lessee will delete use dates of the South Hall only,
PURPOSE: January 5-14, 1986 but will add use of the South Hall,
second floor Wraparound (5 rooms) , January 8-12, 1986.
RATE: 45 per square fpot net exhibit space used with a
minimum guarantee of $5,000.00 for the South Hall
Second Floor Wraparound.
