A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF LEASE
AMENDMENT WITH FLORIDA FURNITURE EXHIBITORS ,
INC. FOR USE OF THE SOUTH HALL OF THE MIAMI
BEACH CONVENTION CENTER ON JANUARY 29 , 1986
THROUGH FEBRUARY 4 , 1986 AND THE NORTH AND
SOUTH HALLS OF THE MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION
CENTER FOR AUGUST 6-13 , 1986 .
WHEREAS , the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH entered into a lease
agreement with
FLORIDA FURNITURE EXHIBITORS , INC.
hereinafter referred to as LESSEE, said agreement having been
approved by the City Commission on
JULY 24 , 1985
for use of certain premises and facilities of the City of Miami
Beach, to-wit:
THE NORTH AND SOUTH HALL OF THE MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION
CENTER
for the event known as :
FLORIDA FURNITURE SHOW
ON: JANUARY 29 - FEBRUARY 4 , 1986 and AUGUST 6-13 , 1986
LESSEE CHANGING USE DATES TO:
JANUARY 29 -- February 4 , 1986 and AUGUST 13-20 , 1986
WHEREAS, said LESSEE has requested an amendment to said
agreement as set forth in Commission Memorandum No. _651-85
a copy of which is included in the agenda for the meet ing—at which
this Resolution was adopted, and
WHEREAS , all other terms and conditions of the existing
agreement shall remain the same, and
WHEREAS, an appropriate Amendment to Agreement, signed
by the said LESSEE and approved as to form and legal sufficiency
by the City Attorney, is attached hereto and made part hereof, the
provisions of which are familiar to the City Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Amendment to the
existing lease agreement as set forth in said Commission
Memorandum be and the same is hereby accepted and approved, and
the Mayor and City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and
directed to execute said Amendment to Agreement in the name of and
on behalf of the City.
