A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
THE CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE LEASE WITH UNITED
STATES POSTAL SERVICE FOR UNDESIGNATED OFF-
STREET PARKING SPACES AT PARKING LOT 4C
LOCATED ON WEST AVENUE AT LINCOLN ROAD/17TH
STREET.
WHEREAS, the United States Postal Service has requested
the leasing of 15 undesignated parking spaces on a space available
basis within the municipal parking lot 4C located on West Avenue
at Lincoln Road/17th Street in the City of Miami Beach; and
WHEREAS, lot 4C has 71 spaces and Metered Parking
represents that the leasing of the 15 undesignated spaces would
not create a problem; and
WHEREAS, the rental represents an additional $3 ,750 in
yearly revenues for the Metered Parking system; and
WHEREAS, lease agreements reflecting the above terms
have been prepared, the City Manager has recommended their
execution, and the City Attorney has approved them as to form,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH that the Mayor and the City Clerk are
authorized to execute leases with the United States Postal Service
for undesignated off-street parking spaces at parking lot 4C
located on West Avenue at Lincoln Road/17th Street.
