A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, EXPRESSING ITS
GRATITUDE TO COMMISSIONER STANLEY H . ARK I N
FOR HIS CONTRIBUTION AND EFFORTS IN MAKING
THE CONVENTION CENTER EXPANSION BECOME A
REALITY.
WHEREAS, Commissioner Stanley H. Arkin has served, for
the past two and a half years, as the Commission liaison to the
Tourist and Convention Center Expansion Authority, which
expansion is considered by the Commission to be an effective
means of revitalizing Miami Beach and Dade County; and
WHEREAS, Commissioner Arkin has worked closely with the
Expansion Authority and with Dade County, selflessly giving his
time and his expertise and advice from the construction field ;
and
WHEREAS, the City Commission, speaking for the citizens
of Miami Beach, is grateful for all of the efforts of Co rissloner
Arkin.
NOW THEREFORE , BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that it expresses
its heartfelt appreciation and gratitude for all of the
contributions and efforts of Commissioner Stanley H. Arkin in
making the City of Miami Beach Convention Center Expansion become
a reality.
