A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE
USE OF THE 21ST STREET RECREATION CENTER BY A
NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION WHICH QUALIFIES UNDER
FLORIDA STATUTES CHAPTER 849 TO OFFER BINGO
GAMES WHICH CONFORM TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF
LAW.
WHEREAS, Chapter 849 of Florida Statutes permits bingo
games to be conducted on municipal property by qualified non-
profit organizations, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to specifically authorize such
use of municipal property by appropriate resolution;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED THAT THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, authorizes the
use of the 21st Street Recreation Center by a nonprofit
organization which qualifies under Florida Statutes Chapter 849
to offer bingo games which conform to the requirements of law.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 4th day of March
1987 .
