A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE LEASE AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH AND SOUTH BEACH
ENTERTAINMENT, INC., A FLORIDA CORPORATION, FOR
CERTAIN PARKING SPACES BETWEEN 6:00 P.M. AND 6:00 A.M.
DAILY FOR CLUB NU VALET PARKING SERVICES.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 87-18724, the City of Miami Beach and
South Beach Entertainment, Inc., d/b/a Club Nu entered into a Lease Agreement on
March 1, 1987, for permission to lease parking spaces at parking lot P-6A, which has 83
meters, during the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. daily for valet parking; and
WHEREAS, the parties wish to amend the terms of the above-described Lease
Agreement to coincide with the opening of Club Nu; and
WHEREAS, an Amendment No. 1 to the Lease Agreement is recommended for
execution by the City Manager, and the City Attorney has approved it to form.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and the City Clerk, be and the
same, are hereby authorized to execute, on behalf of the City of Miami Beach, Amendment
No. 1 to the Lease Agreement between the City of Miami Beach and South Beach
Entertainment, Inc., a Florida Corporation, for certain parking spaces between 6:00 p.m. and
6:00 a.m. daily, for Club Nu valet parking services.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 18th day of March 1987.
