A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
THE CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A SECOND AMENDMENT
TO THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH AND BORRELLI , FRANKEL, BLITSTEIN, A
JOINT VENTURE , AND THOMPSON VENTULETT
STAINBACK & ASSOCIATES, INC. , ARCHITECTS TO
PROVIDE FOR FULL TIME FIELD REPRESENTATIVE
SERVICES AT A COST NOT TO EXCEED $85,000.00
PER YEAR.
WHEREAS , the City of Miami Beach on May 3 , 1985, entered
into an Agreement ( the "Agreement" ) with Borrelli , Frankel ,
Blitstein, a Joint Venture, and Thompson Ventulett Stainback &
Associates , Inc . , ( the "Architects " ) , for Architectural ,
Engineering and Related Professional Services relative to the
expansion of the Miami Beach Convention Center ; and
WHEREAS, on June 26, 1986 pursuant to Resolution No . 86-
18414 , City and Architects entered into an Amendment to the
Agreement; and
WHEREAS , the City and the Architect wish to further amend
the Agreement; and
WHEREAS, a Second Amendment has been prepared, the Tourist
and Convention Center Expansion Authority and City Manager have
recommended execution of the Second Amendment and the City
Attorney has approved it as to form.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, the Mayor and the City Clerk
are authorized to execute the Second Amendment to the Agreement
between the City of Miami Beach and Borrelli , Frankel , Blitstein,
a Joint Venture, and Thompson Ventulett Stainback & Associates,
Inc. , Architects, which is attached hereto, to provide for full
time field representative services at a cost not to exceed
$85 , 000 . 00 per year .
