RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA AWARDING GRANT OF
$55,980.09 TO FOUR FREEDOMS HOUSE OF MIAMI
BEACH , INC . FOR UNCOMPENSATED COMMUNITY
SERVICES
WHEREAS , Four Freedoms House of Miami Beach, Inc. has
provided and will continue to provide a multitude of services of
great benefit to the local community; and
WHEREAS, this Commission recognizes and appreciates the
commitment on the part of Four Freedoms House of Miami Beach,
Inc. for serving the needs of the community; and
WHEREAS, this Commission would like to award a grant of
to Four Freedoms House of Miami Beach, Inc. in an effort to
reimburse this organization for the services it performs
benefitting the community and for which it is not otherwise
compensated,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that Four Freedoms House of Miami
Beach, Inc. is hereby awarded a grant of $55,980.09 for the
uncompensated services it performs for the community ; and the
City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to issue this
amount to Four Freedoms House of Miami Beach , Inc . from the
proper budgetary funds.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 1st day of April , 1987 .
