A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A
MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT FOR THE TRANSFER OF NORTH
SHORE OPEN SPACE PARK TO THE STATE OF FLORIDA TO BE
OPERATED AS A STATE PARK
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach owns and operates North Shore Open Space Park;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach and the State of Florida have agreed that the
State is desirous of operating North Shore Open Space as a State Park; and
WHEREAS, a Memorandum of Agreement is necessary to structure the formal legal
documents.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor is authorized to execute the
Memorandum of Agreement between the City of Miami Beach and the State of
Florida's Department of Natural Resources dated May 20th, 1987.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Resolution No. 87-18865 was Passed and Adopted on
this 70th day of _may , 1987.
