A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE ENGAGEMENT LETTER
APPOINTING TOUCHE ROSS & CO. AS AUDITORS FOR THE FISCAL 1986/1987
AND CONSULTANTS TO DEVELOP AN INDIRECT COST ALLOCATION PLAN
BE IT RESOLVED RY THF CITY COMMISSTON OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach desires
the highest quality in auditing and consulting services; and
WHEREAS, Touche Ross & ; Co. has served as auditors for six years
and undertaken numerous consulting tasks for the City; and
WHEREAS, Touche Ross & Co. has demonstrated a high level of
professional competence and expertise in the services provided to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
The Mayor of the City of Miami Beach, Florida is authorized to
execute the Engagement Letter of Touche Ross &. Co. appointing them as
auditors for the fiscal 1986/1987 year and as consultants to develop an indirect
cost allocation plan for the City.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 3rd day of June , 1987.

SUBJECT: APPOINTMENT OF OUCHE ROSS AS AUDITORS AND CONSULTANTS
Touche Ross has served as the Auditors for the City of Miami Beach
for six years. During this period they have also provided numerous
consulting services for the City. The attached Resolution authorizes
the Mayor to execute the Engagement Letter for Touche Ross to under-
take the audit of the fiscal 1986/87 year and to provide consulting
services to develop an indirect cost allocation plan for the City.
The audit fee is $67,800 and the fund will be available in the fiscal
1987/88 budget. The cost to develop the indirect cost allocation plan
is $30,000 and funds are available in the unclassified accounts for
this service.
ADMINISTRATION RECOMMENDATION
The Administration recommends that the Commission approve the attached
Resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute the Engagement Letter
appointing Touche Ross as auditors and consultants.
