A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A THREE PARTY
AGREEMENT WITH UNITED STATES FIDELITY AND
GUARANTY COMPANY ( "USF&G" ) AND H.E. NASON
INC. FOR REPAIRS TO THE NEW FIRE MAINTENANCE
BUILDING PURSUANT TO THE PERFORMANCE BOND.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach entered into a construction
contract with All-Types Projects, Inc. for construction of a New
Fire Maintenance Building on Dade Boulevard, and
WHEREAS , All Types Projects , Inc . defaulted in the
performance of the contract and USF&G, the bonding company, has
proffered H.E. Nason, Inc. as a completing contractor to complete
the work and repair the defects pursuant to the attached Three
Party Agreement; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended execution of the
Three Party Agreement and the office of the City Attorney has
approved it as to form,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, Florida, that the Mayor and the City
Clerk are authorized to execute the Three Party Agreement with
USF&G and H.E. Nason, Inc. which is attached hereto.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of June , 1987 .
