A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, PROVIDING
FOR THE 6TH AMENDMENT TO THE FY 1986/87
GENERAL FUND BUDGET; MAKING PROVISIONS
FOR: 1) CORRECTING A REVENUE CLASSIFICA-
TION ERROR IN THE CURRENT BUDGET, AND 2)
INCREASING THE DONATION CONTINGENCY BY
$75,000, WITH INCREASED FUNDING PROVIDED
FROM RESORT TAX REVENUE COLLECTED BY THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH.
WHEREAS, the current General Fund Budget contains a
classification error , incorrectly classifying $426, 916 in Excise Tax
Funds as Resort Tax Funds; and that the correction of such error will
have no material impact on the Budget, and the Administration is
desirous of correcting such error ; and,
WHEREAS, on May 20 , 1987 , the City Commission approved funding
up to $25, 000 for the July 4th All American Week-End, to be provided
from increased Resort Tax collections; and,
WHEREAS, on June 3, 1987 , the City Commission approved a grant
of $25, 000 and a loan on $25, 000 , to the Colony Theatre, with funds
to be provided from increased Resort Tax collections; and,
WHEREAS, actual Resort Tax collections for FY 1986-87 , are
exceeding budgeted amounts.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the City Commission of the City of
Miami Beach hereby amends the FY 1986/87 General Fund Budget for the
City of Miami Beach, by amending revenue appropriations as follows :

Beach hereby amends the FY 1986/87 General Fund Budget for the City
of Miami Beach, by amending expenditure appropriations as follows :
