A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH , FLORIDA , REQUESTING TAX EXEMPTION ON
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 308-312 MICHIGAN AVENUE, ACQUIRED
IN LIEU OF EMINENT DOMAIN PROCEEDINGS INSTITUTED BY THE
CITY. OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, FOR PUBLIC USE.
WHEREAS, on June 24 , 1987, the City of Miami Beach, Florida
acquired for public use the following described property:
East 100 . 06 feet of Lot 7 , Block 100 , OCEAN BEACH
ADDITION NO. 3 , according to the Plat thereof ,
recorded in Plat Book 2 , Page 81 , of the Public Records
of Dade County , Florida, together with the buildings
situated thereon.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the City of Miami Beach,
Florida , herewith formally requests exemption from taxes as of
date of acquisition of the property herein set forth, pursuant to
Florida Statutes , Section 196 . 28 .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORDIA that a certified copy of this Resolution be
transmitted to the Metropolitan Dade County Commission , its
County Manager , its Tax Assessor and its Tax Collector .
PASSED and ADOPTED this 15th day of July , 1987 .
