A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA, ADOPTING MIAMI BEACH MARINE AUTHORITY'S
RECOMMENDATION TO APPROVE AN EXTENSION INTO THE WATERWAY AT
THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 4525 COLLINS AVENUE, EDEN ROC HOTEL,
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
WHEREAS, the Marine Authority of the City of Miami Beach, Florida
unamiously approved an extension into the waterway of 12 dolphin piles
by a distance of 12.14 feet into Indian Creek Waterway, at the property
located at 4525 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the Marine Authority of the City of Miami Beach believes
that allowing the retention of said extension into the waterway would
not be detrimental to the surrounding areas; and
WHEREAS, the Marine Authority of the City of Miami Beach feels
wholeheartly this extension into the waterway should also be approved by
the City Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MAIMI BEACH, FLORIDA THAT the City Commission adopt the Miami
Beach Marine Authority's recommendation and grant an extension into the
waterway of 12.14 feet at the property located at 4525 Collins Avenue,
Miami Beach, Florida.
