A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
THE CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A FIRST AMENDMENT
TO THE COMPUTER AIDED DISPATCH AND RECORDS
MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH AND COMMAND DATA SYSTEMS.
WHEREAS, the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH ( "City" ) on May 8 , 1987
entered into a Computer Aided Dispatch and Records Management
System Agreement ( "Agreement" ) with Command Data Systems ( "CDS" )
for a computer aided dispatch and records management system for
City; and
WHEREAS, CDS has represented to City that CDS is unable to
obtain the Performance Bond specified in the Agreement ; and
WHEREAS, the parties wish to amend the Agreement to change
the Performance Bond requirements, and to make other changes to
the Agreement ; and
WHEREAS, an appropriate Amendment to the Agreement has been
negotiated, the City Manager has recommended its execution a n d
the City Attorney has approved it as to form.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH that the Mayor and the City Clerk are
hereby authorized to execute the First Amendment to the Agreement
between the City of Miami Beach and Command Data Systems changing
the Performance Bond requirements and making other changes .
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of July, 1987 .
