A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION
OF $12,000 FROM THE SOUTH POINTE BOND FUND FOR
DEMOLITION AND REMOVAL OF THE PROPERTY
LOCATED AT 24, 28, AND 34 WASHINGTON AVENUE FOR
THE PURPOSE OF WIDENING OF WASHINGTON AVENUE.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach is in the process of widening
Washington Avenue from Biscayne Street to First Street.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach has a contract with P.N.M.
Corporation to widen Washington Avenue from a two-lane street to a four-lane
street with a median. It was necessary to purchase, demolish and remove the above
properties to accomplish this.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, authorizes the
appropriation of $12,000.00 for the above-described work and further authorized the
appropriation of said monies be made into Work Order 2947 from the South Pointe
Bond Issue Fund 357.
