A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH
SIERRA COMPUTER SYSTEMS, INC. , FOR THE
PROVISION OF A LAND MANAGEMENT AND PERMIT
INFORMATION TRACKING SYSTEM
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach issued a request for
proposals identified as RFP No. 27-86/87 for the purpose of
receiving bids on a Land Management System; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission authorized the City
Manager to negotiate an agreement with Sierra Computer Systems,
Inc. , for providing a Land Mangement and Permit Information
Tracking System; and
WHEREAS, Sierra Computer Systems, Inc. , now desires to
furnish to the City of Miami Beach certain goods and services
pursuant to the RFP No. 27-86/87 and based upon its overall
proposal; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager and the City Attorney,
through their staffs , have negotiated an agreement pursuant to
Sierra Computer Systems ' response to RFP No. 27-86/87; and
WHEREAS, the funding for this project has been approved
by the City Commission on June 3 , 1987 , at which time it
authorized $100 , 000 be made available from Account No.
321 . 2609 . 000674 and 011 . 0314 ,000674 for $72 , 000 and $28 ,000
respectively.
WHEREAS, a contingency of $3 , 800 is in order to be
expended on unanticipated items, if required and approved by the
City Manager.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor
and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute an
agreement with Sierra Computer Systems, Inc.
