A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF
LICENSE AGREEMENTS WITH THE AMERICAN SOCIETY
OF COMPOSERS, AUTHORS AND PUBLISHERS (ASCAP),
AND BROADCAST MUSIC, INC. (BMI).
BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA, to enter into agreement with the American Society of Composers,
Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) and Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI) providing for
royalty payments on music played at City facilities and that this expenditure
be funded out of the General Fund Contingency Account.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 29th day of July, 1987.
