A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN HARRY HEINITSH, M.D.
AND THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH FOR MEDICAL DIRECTOR OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH. Ratification of contract signing.
(After the Fact)
WHEREAS, C.B.M. wishes to contract for a Medical Director of the City's Emergency
Medical Services ("EMS") provided by the City's Fire Department; and
WHEREAS, Harry Heinitsh, M.D. wishes to serve as the Medical Director for
the City's EMS Service.
WHEREAS, the parties have negotiated an EMS Medical Director Agreement;
and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends the Agreement and the City
Attorney has approved the Agreement as to form; and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized
to execute an Emergency Medical Service Agreement between Harry Heinitsh, M.D.
and the City of Miami Beach for Medical Director of the City of Miami Beach,
retroactive to August 28, 1987 thru August 27, 1988.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of September, 1987.
