A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, EXTENDING THE
INVITATION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH TO THE
NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF MUNICIPAL LAW OFFICERS
FOR THE 1991 CONVENTION.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach, has been long recognized
as one of the finest tourist and convention destination areas of
the United States; and,
WHEREAS, the National Institute of Municipal Law Officers
has a long and dedicated history of service to municipal lawyers
and through them, to the municipalities they serve; and,
WHEREAS, the National Institute of Municipal Law Officers is
considering the City of Miami Beach for their 1991 Convention;
and,
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach is desirous of sponsoring
the said Convention and providing municipal lawyers from around
the nation with the opportunity to share in the beauty, culture,
climate and recreation of our City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that it hereby extends its
invitation to the National Institute of Municipal Law Officers
for the 1991 Convention.
