A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA AMENDING RESOLUTION NUMBER 87-18751,
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION AND DELIVERY OF A FORMAL
MODIFICATION TO THE CITY'S LOCAL GOVERNMENT
COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING ASSISTANCE PROGRAM CONTRACT
WITH THE STATE OF FLORIDA FOR FY 86/87, PROVIDING FOR A
TWO-MONTH CONTRACT EXTENSION FROM SEPTEMBER 30, 1987
TO NOVEMBER 30, 1987.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA,
THAT
WHEREAS, on February 4, 1987, the City Commisison adopted Resolution No. 87-18751
authorizing the execution of an Agreement with the State of Florida for Local Government
Comprehensive Planning Assistance Funds; and,
WHEREAS, said Agreement provided for a contract completion date of September 30,
1987; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to Rule 9J-16.005(7), F.A.C., the City Administration requested a
two-month extension of said contract term, from September 30, 1987 to November 30, 1987.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed
to execute and deliver a formal modification to the City's Local Government Comprehensive
Planning Assistance contract for FY 1986/87, providing for a two-month contract extension,
from September 30, 1987 to November 30, 1987, with a copy of said Agreement to be made
part of this Resolution and that Resolution No. 87-18751 be amended, accordingly.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 2nd day of September 1987.
