A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING RESOLUTION 87-18778 FOR
POLICE TRAINING TRUST FUND FOR FISCAL YEAR 1986/87 SO
AS TO INCREASE THE APPROPRIATION THEREOF.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT DULY RESOLVED THAT THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA hereby
adopts the proposed amendment to Resolution 87-18778 of the
operating budget for the Police Training Trust Fund a true and
correct listing of which is included and incorporated herein by
reference, and the monies therein be and the same are hereby
appropriated as follows (Exhibit I):

I, Ken Glassman, Chief of Police, City of Miami Beach , do hereby certify that the
aforementioned proposed request for expenditures from the City of Miami Beach,
Police Training Trust Fund, for the amendment to the operating budget to provide
funds for the education of police personnel at various schools, conferences, and
workshops, and for the purchase of Training Operational Supplies (i.e. Ammunition) in
accordance with guidelines established by the Division of Criminal Justice Standards
and Training as provided by F.S.S.943.25(8)(a).

POLICE TRAINING TRUST FUND FOR FISCAL YEAR 1986/87
The Administration requests an ammendment to Resolution 87-18778 to the operating
budget of the Police Training Trust Fund to appropriate an additional $7,000.00 to provide
funds for the education of police personnel at various schools, seminars, conferences, and
workshops, and for the purchase of Training Operational Supplies (i.e., Ammunition) in
accordance with guidelines established by the Division of Criminal Justice Standards and
Training. The revenue is accrued from funding as provided by F.S.S.943.25(8)(a). The
additional appropriation will increase the Police Training Trust Budget to a total of
$47,000.00 for the Fiscal Year 1986/87.
ADMINISTRATION RECOMMENDATION
The Administration recommends that the City Commission adopt the operating budget p g for
the Police Training Trust Fund and appropriate funding.
