A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, URGING THE
VATICAN TO ESTABLISH FULL DIPLOMATIC
RELATIONS WITH ISRAEL.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach is
concerned with relations between Jews and Catholics in this
community and throughout the world; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission believes that relations between
Jews and Catholics would be improved by the establishment of
diplomatic relations between the Vatican and the State of Israel.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the City Commission
urges the Vatican to establish full diplomatic relations with
Israel.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of September , 1987 .
