A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
THE CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A LEASE AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH AND CON-SOL,
INC. FOR THE LEASE OF THE SOLYMAR PROPERTY BY
THE CITY FOR TEMPORARY MUNICIPAL PARKING AND
A PUBLIC BEACH AREA.
WHEREAS, Con-Sol, Inc. ("Lessor") in consideration of the
City of Miami Beach ("Lessee") making certain improvements to the
parking lots, wishes to lease to the Lessee the Solymar property,
located on both sides of Ocean Drive between 14th Lane and 15th
Street; and
WHEREAS, Lessee wishes to lease the Solymar property from
the Lessor for a term of six months, automatically renewable for
successive six month periods, and terminable by either party with
sixty (60) days notice; and
WHEREAS, an appropriate Lease Agreement has been negotiated,
the City Manager has recommended its execution and the City
Attorney has approved it as to form.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH that the Mayor and the City Clerk are
hereby authorized to execute the Lease Agreement between the City
of Miami Beach and Con-Sol, Inc. for the lease of the Solymar
property by the City for temporary municipal parking and a public
beach area.
