A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, ADOPTING MIAMI BEACH MARINE
AUTHORITY' S RECOMMENDATION TO APPROVE AN EXTENSION INTO THE
WATERWAY AT THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1250 STILLWATER DRIVE ,
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA :
WHEREAS , the Marine Authority of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida unanimously approved an extension into the
waterway of an AFTER THE FACT dock and floating dock extending
into the waterway a distance of 68 feet , 4 inches (dock extension
42 feet , floating dock extension 26 feet , 4 inches) at 1250
Stillwater Drive , Miami Beach , Florida, and
WHEREAS , the Marine Authority of the City of
Miami Beach believes that allowing the retention of said extension
into the waterway would not be detrimental to the surrounding
areas ; and
WHEREAS, the Marine Authority of the City of
Miami Beach feels wholeheartedly this extension into the waterway
should also be approved by the City Commission .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA THAT the City
Commission adopt the Miami Beach Marine Authority ' s recommendation
and grant an extension into the waterway of 68 feet , 4 inches at
the property located at 1250 Stillwater Drive , Miami Beach, Florida.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 16th day of
September 1987 .
