RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH TRANSFERRING $1,500,000 FROM THE
JUSTICE CENTER BOND FUND TO THE METERED PARKING
FUND.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach approved the
appropriation of $2,298,150 from Metered Parking Funds to constuct the
Parking Facility at the Justice Center on July 25, 1984 and,
WHEREAS the project is substantially complete and interest earnings
have sufficiently reduced the amount of funds necessary to construct
this Parking Facility; and,
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach deems it in
the best interests of the City to restore as much of these funds to
Metered Parking as it can to construct needed improvements ;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that $1 ,500,000 be transferred from
the Justice Center Bond Fund to the Metered Parking Fund for the
construction of needed improvements.
