A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING AN OPERATING
BUDGET AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR POLICE
CONFISCATION TRUST ACCOUNT FOR FISCAL YEAR 1987/88.
BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the City Commission of the City
of Miami Beach, Florida hereby adopts the proposed operating budget
for the Police Confiscation Trust Account, a true and correct listing
of which is included and incorporated herein by reference, and the
monies therein be and the same are hereby appropriated as follows
(Exhibit I):

1, Ken Glassman, Chief of Police, City of Miami Beach , do hereby certify that the
aforementioned proposed request for expenditures from the City of Miami Beach,
Police Confiscation Trust Fund, for the funding for the 1987/88 fiscal year salaries
for the Police Legal Advisor and Secretary and related conferences and seminars, to
purchase Special Weapons and Ammunition to be used in a special study, and provide
for expenditures necessary to maintain safe operation of confiscated vehicles, towing
and storage of confiscated vehicles, costs to advertise forfeiture proceedings and
governmental charges for filing forfeiture proceedings, towing/storage/title/repairs
to confiscated boats and trailers, unanticipated operating expenses, and to purchase
new and replacement bullet protective vests (as required), complies with provisions of
Section 932.704(3)(a), Florida Statutes.
