A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, REQUESTING
TAX EXEMPTION ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 232-
242 MICHIGAN AVENUE, ACQUIRED FOR THE
SOUTH BEACH ELEMENTARY SCHOOL LAND ACQUIS-
ITION PROJECT.
WHEREAS, on September 30 , 1987 , the City of Miami Beach,
Florida acquired the following described property for public use :
Lots 3 and 4 , in Block 101 , of OCEAN BEACH
ADDITION NO. 3 , according to the Plat thereof ,
as recorded in Plat Book 2 , Page 81 , of the
Public Records of Dade County, Florida .
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, herewith formally requests exemption from taxes as of
date of acquisition of the property herein set forth, pursuant to
Florida Statutes, Section 196 . 28 .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that a certified copy of this Resolution be
transmitted to the Metropolitan Dade County Commission, its
County Manager , its Tax Assessor and its Tax Collector .
