ARCHITECTURAL , ENGINEERING AND RELATED
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES RELATIVE TO THE
EXPANSION OF THE MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION
CENTER.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach ( "City" ) , on May 3, 1985,
entered into an Agreement ( "Agreement" ) with Borrelli , Frankel ,
Blitstein , a Joint Venture, and Thompson Ventulett Stainback &
Associates, Inc. ( "Architects" ) for Architectural , Engineering
and Related Professional Services relative to the expansion of
the Miami Beach Convention Center ; and
WHEREAS , City and Architect have previously amended the
Agreement on June 26, 1986 (First Amendment ) , on April 1 , 1987
(Second Amendment ) and on May 13, 1987 (Third Amendment ) ; and
. .a WHEREAS, the City and the Architect wish to further amend
the Agreement to provide for Architectural engineering services
relating to the west wrap around renovation, and for other
Architectural engineering services; and
WHEREAS, a Fourth Amendment has been prepared , the City
Manager has recommended execution of the Fourth Amendment and the
City Attorney has approved it as to form,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, the Mayor and the City Clerk
are authorized to execute the Fourth Amendment to Agreement
between the City of Miami Beach and Borrelli , Frankel , Blitstein,
Joint Venture , and Thompson Ventulett Stainback & Associates,
Inc. , Architects, for architectural , engineering , and related
professional services relative to the expansion of the Miami
Beach Convention Center .
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of October, 1987 .
