SUBJECT: Personnel Board Group 2 Election
Pursuant to City Code Section 2-190.69, the Office of the City Clerk commenced election
procedures to elect the employee representative of Group 2 for the Personnel Board, for the term
commencing August 1, 2019 and ending July 31, 2022. Group 2 consists of "employees in clerical
and supervisor position."
On June 5, 2019, a notice was sent to eligible Group 2 employees informing them that an election
had been called to elect the Group 2 employee representative to the Personnel Board. The notice
was disseminated via e-mail to Department Directors, Division Directors, and Management Team,
with instructions to post and distribute the notice among their employees. Group 2 employees had
from Monday, June 10, 2019 to Friday, June 21, 2019 to declare their interest in qualifying to run as
the Group 2 employee representative on the Personnel Board.
The incumbent to the Group 2 seat, Eduardo Carranza, from Building Department, was the only
employee who filed to fill the vacancy in Group 2; therefore, Eduardo Carranza was deemed elected
without opposition as the Group 2 employee representative to the Personnel Board, to fill the three-
year term ending on July 31, 2022.

We, the undersigned Clerk and Witness, do hereby certify that:
