A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
AND THE CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A CONCESSION
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH AND
TIX-BY-PHONE OF MIAMI,INC. FOR THE OPERATION
OF A COMPUTERIZED BOX OFFICE SYSTEM AT THE
JACKIE GLEASON THLATER FOR THE PERFORMING
ARTS FOR A THREE (3) YEAR PERIOD WITH ONE (1)
THREE-YEAR EXTENSION PERIOD
WHEREAS, the City Administration, through the Department of
Purchasing and Property Management issued a Request for Proposals
(RFP No. 125-86/90) for The Operation of a Computerized Box
Office System at the Jackie Gleason Theater for the Performing
Arts in the City of Miami Beach; and
WHEREAS, a proposal was received from Tix-By-Phone of Miami,
Inc. , and
WHEREAS, an appropriate Concession Agreement has been
negotiated, the City Manager has recommended its execution and
the City Attorney has approved it as to form,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH that the Mayor and the City Clerk are
hereby authorized to execute the Concession Agreement attached
hereto between the City of Miami Beach and Tix-By-Phone of Miami,
Inc. , for the Operation of a Computerized Box Office System at
the Jackie Gleason Theater for the Performing Arts for a three-
year period, with one (1) three-year extension period, commencing
on February 1, 1988.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 20th day of January, 1988.
