RESOLUTION 88-19142 RESOLUTION NO. 88-19142 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, REQUESTING THE OWNERS OF THE SENATOR HOTEL TO FORBEAR DEMOLISHING THE HOTEL FOR 90 DAYS UNTIL NEGOTIATIONS WITH THE CITY HAVE BEEN COMPLETED. WHEREAS, the Senator Hotel is considered a valuable part of the Art Deco period; and WHEREAS , the City Commission would like to negotiate an arrangement to preserve the hotel; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, requests the owners of the Senator Hotel to forebear demolishing the hotel for 90 days until negotiations with the City have been completed.
