A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH , FLORIDA , ADOPTING MIAMI BEACH MARINE AUTHORITY ' S
RECOMMENDATION TO APPROVE THE INSTALLATION OF TWO 3-CLUSTER
DOLPHIN PILINGS INTO THE WATERWAY AT THE PROPERTY LOCATED
ADJACENT TO 44 LAGORCE CIRCLE .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THF CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH , FLORIDA :
WHEREAS , the Marine Authority of the City of Miami
Beach , Florida approved with a majority vote , the request to
allow the installation of two 3-cluster dolphin pilings into
the waterway a total distance of 76 feet , at the property
located adjacent to 44 LaGorce Circle , Miami Beach , Florida
and
WHEREAS , the Marine Authority of the City of Miami
Beach belives that allowing the extension into the waterway
would not be detrimental to the surrounding' areas ; and
WHEREAS , the Marine Authority of the City of Miarii Beach
feels wholeheartedly this extension into the waterway should
also be approved by the City Commission .
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH , FLORIDA THAT the City Commission
adopt the Miami Beach Marine Authority ' s recommendation and
grant an extension into the waterway of 76 feet at the property
located adjacent to 44 LaGorce Circle , Miami Beach , Florida
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 1st day of June , 1988 .

AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH THAT the Marine Authority
go on record of the approval of the aforementioned .

SUBJECT: AN ACTION BY THE MARINE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH APPROVING AN EXTENSION INTO THE
WATERWAY AT THE PROPERTY ADJACENT TO 44 LAGORCE
CIRCLE , MIAMI BEACH , FLORIDA .
BACKGROUND
On April 7 , 1988 at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Marine Authority a majority vote of approval
was granted for an extension into the waterway to
exceed the maximum allowable distance by 36 feet ,
in order to install two 3-cluster dolphin pilings
( total extension 76 feet ) .
OBSERVATION
The Marine Authority feels that this extension
into the waterway would not be detrimental to
the surrounding area .
RECOMMENDATION
The Marine Authority recommends that the City
Commission adopt a resolution approving an extension
into the waterway at the property located adjacent
to 44 LaGorce Circle .
