A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND THE CITY CLERK
TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH AND AUGMENTED COMPUTER
TECHNOLOGIES, INC. , FOR THE POLICE
DEPARTMENT, SIU DIVISION, COMPUTER SYSTEM
WITH FUNDING FROM POLICE DEPARTMENT
CONFISCATED FUND.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach received proposals for
a stand-alone computer system to be used in the Strategic
Investigation Unit (SIU) of the Police Department under RFP No.
66-86/87 ; and,
WHEREAS, on March 2 , 1988 , the City Commission awarded
the contract to Augmented Computer Technologies , Inc. , and
authorized the Administration to negotiate a contract for this
purpose; and
WHEREAS, the contract has been successfully negotiated
for an amount of $74 , 649 which will be funded from Police
Department Confiscated Funds previously approved by the City
Commission for this purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the City
Commission authorizes the Mayor and the City Clerk to execute the
agreement with Augmented Computer Technologies, Inc. , for an
amount of $74 , 649 .
