A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING AN
APPROPRIATION OF $225,000.00 TO A NEW WORK
ORDER FOR SHORELINE RESTORATION/PINE TREE
PARK; APPROVING AN APPROPRIATION OF
$13,500.00 TO A NEW WORK ORDER FOR THE ROWING
CLUB FACILITY IN PINE TREE PARK; APPROVING AN
APPROPRIATION OF $15,000.00 TO A NEW WORK
ORDER FOR SOUTH SHORE LIBRARY RELOCATION
WHEREAS, the City Commission approved the Florida Recreation
Development Assistance Program Grant Agreement at the October 16,
1985 Commission Meeting in the amount of $225, 000. 00 with funds
to be placed into a special revenue/expenditure account; and
WHEREAS, the Administration currently requests that
$225, 000. 00 be appropriated to a new Work Order to cover
Professional Engineering and construction costs for Shoreline
Restoration/Pine Tree Park; and
WHEREAS, the Administration currently requests the City
Commission to appropriate $13 , 500. 00 from Reallocated Bond Fund
No. 351 to a new Work Order for Professional Engineering Services
for the Rowing Club Facility in Pine Tree Park; and
WHEREAS, the Administration currently requests the City
Commission to appropriate $15, 000. 00 from Reallocated Bond Fund
No. 351 to a new Work Order for Professional Engineering Services
for the South Shore Library Relocation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the City Commission
approves the following appropriations: $225, 000. 00 to a new Work
Order for Shoreline Restoration/Pine Tree Park; $13 , 500. 00 to a
new Work Order for the Rowing Club Facility in Pine Tree Park;
and $15, 000. 00 to a new Work Order for the South Shore Library
Relocation.
