A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA,
REQUESTING TAX EXEMPTION OF PROPERTY
LOCATED AT 75TH STREET AND OCEAN TERRACE,
ACQUIRED FOR THE PROPOSED PARKING LOT AT
SAME ADDRESS, AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION
NO. 88-19127.
WHEREAS, on December 14 , 1987, the City of Miami Beach,
Florida acquired the following described property for public use:
Lot 3, of Block 8, of ALTOS DEL MAR NO. 1,
according to the corrected Plat thereof, recorded
in Plat Book 31, at Page 40, of the Public Records
of Dade County, Florida, together with all riparian
rights appurtenant thereto; and the following
portion of Airoso Way as shown on Plat of ALTOS DEL
MAR NO. 1, recorded in Plat Book 4, at Page 157, of
the Public Records of Dade County, Florida (said
Airoso Way being now known as Atlantic Way) ;
Commence at the Northwest corner of Lot 3, in Block
8, of Altos Del Mar #1, as shown on said Plat;
thence West along the West extension of the North
boundary line of said Lot 3, in said Block 8, to a
point midway between the West boundary line and the
East boundary line of Airoso Way as shown on said
Plat; thence South on a line running equidistant
from the said West boundary line and the East
boundary line of said Airoso Way as shown on said
Plat to the intersection with the West extension of
the South boundary line of said Lot 3, in said
Block 8, said point of intersection being on the
North line of Allamanda Street as shown on said
plat (now known as 75th Street) ; thence East along
the said West extension of the South boundary line
of said Lot 3, in said Block 8, being the North
line of Allmanada Street, as shown on said Plat
(now known as 75th Street) to the Southwest corner
of said Lot 3, in said Block 8, thence North along
the West line of said Lot 3, in said Block 8, and
the same being the East line of Airoso Way as shown
on said Plat, to the point of beginning.
WHEREAS, on January 6, 1988 the City Commission of the City
of Miami Beach adopted Resolution No. 88-19127 requesting tax
exemption for the property located at 75th Street and Ocean
Terrace, however, the legal description in said resolution was
incorrect.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, herewith formally requests exemption from taxes as of
date of acquisition of the property herein set forth, pursuant to
Florida Statutes, Section 196.28.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that a certified copy of this Resolution be
transmitted to the Metropolitan Dade County Commission, its
County Manager, its Tax Assessor and its Tax Collector and that
Resolution No. 88-19127 adopted January 6, 1988 be and the same
is hereby rescinded.
