A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH , FLORIDA , ADOPTING MIAMI BEACH MARINE
AUTHORITY ' S RECOMMENDATION TO APPROVE AN EXTENSION
INTO THE WATERWAY AT THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1701
CLEVELAND ROAD .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH , FLORIDA :
WHEREAS , the Marine Authority of the City of
Miami Beach , Florida approved with a majority vote , the
request to allow an extension into the waterway a total
distance of 80 feet , a dock , mooring piles and elevator
lift at the property located at 1701 Cleveland Road , .
Miami Beach , Florida and ,
WHEREAS , the Marine Authority of the City of Miami
Beach believes that allowing the extension into the
waterway would not be detrimental to the surrounding areas ;
and
WHEREAS , the Marine Authority of the City of Miami
B each feels wholeheartedly this extension into the water-
way should also be approved by the City Commission .
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH , FLORIDA THAT the City Commission
adopt the Miami Beach Marine Authority ' s recommendation and
grant an extension into the waterway of 80 feet at the
property located at 1710 Cleveland Road , Miami Beach ,
Florida .
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 19th day of October , 1988 .
