A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF LEASE
AGREEMENT WITH CONCERT ASSOCIATION OF GREATER
MIAMI, INC. FOR THE USE OF THE JACKIE GLEASON
THEATER OF THE PERFORMING ARTS OF THE STEPHEN
MUSS GREATER MIAMI AND THE BEACHES CONVENTION
CENTER NOVEMBER 21, 1988 - APRIL 13 , 1989 .
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, has been advised that
CONCERT ASSOCIATION OF GREATER MIAMI, INC.
desires to lease certain premises and facilities of the City of
Miami Beach, to-wit:
JACKIE GLEASON THEATER OF THE PERFORMING ARTS OF THE
STEPHEN MUSS GREATER MIAMI AND THE BEACHES CONVENTION CENTER
on
NOVEMBER 21, 1988 - MICHA DICTER
DECEMBER 1, 1988 - PINCHAS ZUKERMAN
FEBRUARY 28 , 1989 - ITZAK PERLMAN - REHEARSAL
MARCH 1, 1989 - ITZAK PERLMAN
MARCH 4 , 1989 - PAUL TAYLOR DANCE CO.
MARCH 15, 1989 - PHILADELPHIA ORCHESTRA
APRIL 12 , 1989 - MIRELLA FRENI - REHEARSAL
APRIL 13 , 1989 - MIRELLA FRENI
for the event known as
6 PERFORMANCES & 2 REHEARSAL DAYS
AND WHEREAS, an appropriate lease agreement has been
prepared by the Miami Beach Convention Center Director and
approved as to form by the City Attorney, and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has been advised of and is
familiar with the terms and provisions of the said lease
agreement and deems it to be in the best interest of the City to
authorize the execution of the said lease amendment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that the Mayor and the City Clerk be
and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute the above-
described lease agreement on behalf of the City, and that the
Miami Beach Convention Center Director be and he is hereby
authorized and directed to carry into effect the terms and
provisions undertaken therein by the City.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 2nd day of November , 1988 .
