A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA,
ESTABLISHING OPERATING BUDGET AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR POLICE TRAINING TRUST
FUND FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 1988 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 1989.
BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA,
that the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, hereby adopts the
proposed operating budget for the Police Training Trust Fund, a true and correct
listing of which is included and incorporated herein by reference, and monies
threin be and the same are hereby appropriated as follows (Exhibit 1) :

SUBJECT: POLICE TRAINING ' UST FUND FOR FISCAL YEAR 1988/89
The Administration requests to establish an operating budget of the Police Training Trust Fund
for Fiscal Year 1988/89 appropriating $15,000.00, to provide funds for the education of police
personnel at various schools, seminars, conferences, and workshops, and for the purchase of
training operational supplies (i.e., ammunition) in accordance with guidelines established by the
Division of Criminal Justice Standards and Training. The revenue is accrued from funding as
provided by F.S.S.943.25(9).
ADMINISTRATION RECOMMENDATION
The Administration recommends that the City Commission adopt the operating budget for the
Police Training Trust Fund and appropriate funding.

I, Ken Glassman, Chief of Police, City of Miami Beach, do hereby certify that the
aforementioned proposed request for expenditures from the City of Miami Beach,
Police Training Trust Fund, for the amendment to the operating budget to provide
funds for the education of police personnel at various schools, conferences, and
workshops, and for the purchase of training operational supplies (i.e., ammunition)
in accordance with guidelines established by the Division of Criminal Justice
Standards and Training as provided by F.S.S.943.25(9).
