A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING
THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS RECEIVED FROM A
GRANT OF THE FLORIDA ARTS COUNCIL
WHEREAS, the Bass Museum of Art has been awarded a
grant of $100 , 000 from the Florida Arts Council for general
operating expenses ; and
WHEREAS, all expenditures must receive prior authori-
zation from the Office of Management and Budget to ensure
compliance with a proposed budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the
City Commission authorize the appropriation of $100 , 000
to Account #145 . 6153 to be used for general operating
purposes .
PASSED and ADOPTED this 21st day of December , 1988 .

ADMINISTRATIVE RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the City Commission adopt the attached
resolution authorizing appropriation of $100 , 000 received from
the Florida Arts Council to Account #145 . 6153 .
