A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING AN INCREASE IN PARKING PERMIT
FEES FOR ANNUAL, SEMI-ANNUAL, AND MONTHLY PRO-RATED
AMOUNTS, WITH AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF JANUARY 1, 1989.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach must provide for the increased
parking needs for our citizens and visitors; and
WHEREAS, Barton-Aschman Associates, Inc. , a professional parking
consultant retained by the City, has recommended an increase in permit fees
to fund these increased requirements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the City Commission of the City of Miami
Beach amend the rates charged by the City for permits as follows:
From: CURRENT * To: AMENDED
Annual Permit $250.00 $300.00 plus sales tax
Semi -annual permits $156.30 $187.50 plus sales tax
Monthly permits $ 37.50 $ 40.00 plus sales tax
* current rates exclude sales tax
BE IT ALSO DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, that the increases shall be effective January 1 , 1989.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 21st day of December, 1988.
