A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING AN INCREASE IN PARKING METER
RATE FEES IN RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL AREAS, WITH AN
EFFECTIVE DATE OF JANUARY 1, 1989.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach must provide for improved parking
opportunities for our citizens and visitors; and
WHEREAS, Barton-Aschman Associates, Inc. , a professional parking
consultant retained by the City, has recommended a revision and an increase
in meter rates to fund improved and future requirements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the City Commission of the City of Miami
Beach amend the meter rates as follows:

$0.20/hour $0.30/hour
$0.40/hour $0.50/hour
BE IT ALSO DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, that the new rates shall be effective January 1 , 1989.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 21st day of December, 1988.
