A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING AN INCREASE IN PARKING FEES AT
THE CONVENTION CENTER PREFERRED PARKING LOT FROM $3.50 TO
$4.00 WITH AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF JANUARY 1, 1989.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach must provide for the increased
parking needs for our citizens and visitors; and
WHEREAS, the rate required to cover the operating costs and
routine repairs to the preferred parking lot would require additional
money in and above the current level of funding for services such as
resurfacing, paving, striping, and replacement of parking bumpers.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the City Commission of the City of Miami
Beach amend the rates charged by the City in the Preferred Parking Lot as
follows:

BE IT ALSO DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, that the the increase shall be January 1, 1989.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 21st day of December, 1988.
