A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, ACKNOWLEDGING AND APPLAUDING THE
EFFORTS OF THE BEIT HALOCHEM ORGANIZATION TO
REHABILITATE DISABLED ISRAELI WAR VETERANS.
WHEREAS, the Beit Halochem is an organization which is
helping the Israeli disabled war veterans to be physically
rehabilitated; and
WHEREAS, the Beit Halochem, existing in Israel, depends upon
funds donated elsewhere, without which it would be unable to aid
in the rehabilitation of over 38, 000 disabled veterans; and
WHEREAS, the Miami Beach City Commission recognizes the
importance of the Beit Halochem for its humanitarian efforts
toward rehabilitating disabled war veterans.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that the City Commission
acknowledges and applauds the efforts of the Beit Halochem to
rehabilitate disabled Israeli war veterans.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 4th day of _ January , 1989.
