A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA REQUESTING TAX EXEMPTION ON PROPERTY
LOCATED AT 200-216 MICHIGAN AVENUE, MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA, ACQUIRED IN LIEU OF EMINENT
DOMAIN PROCEEDINGS TO BE INSTITUTED BY THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA FOR PUBLIC USE.
WHEREAS, on January 6, 1989 , the City of Miami Beach
acquired the following described property for public use:
The South 80 feet of Lot 5, and the North 50
feet of the South 130 feet of Lot 5, Block
101, OCEAN BEACH, ADDITION NO. 3, according
to the Plat thereof, as recorded in Plat Book
2, page 81, in the Public Records of Dade
County, Florida.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, that the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, herewith formally requests
exemption from taxes as of date of acquisition of the property
herein set forth, pursuant to Florida Statutes, Section 196. 28 .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA
that.. a certified copy of this Resolution be transmitted to the
Metropolitan Dade County Commission, its County Manager, its Tax
Assessor and its Tax Collector.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 1st day of February , 1989 .
