A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER AND THE CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH THE GERALD
SCHWARTZ AGENCY TO PROVIDE PROFESSIONAL
PUBLIC RELATIONS CONSULTANT SERVICES TO
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach issued Request for
Proposals No. 48-88/91 for a professional public relations
consultant for a one year term with a City option for second and
third years; and
WHEREAS, On January 17, 1989 the Gerald Schwartz Agency
filed a proposal in response to RFP No. 48-88/91 ; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission at its Commission Meeting on
February 15, 1989 authorized the City Manager to negotiate an
Agreement with the Gerald Schwartz Agency; and
WHEREAS, an Agreement has been negotiated, recommended by
the City Manager and approved as to form by the City Attorney.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the City Manager and
the City Clerk are authorized to execute an Agreement with the
Gerald Schwartz Agency to provide professional public relations
consultant services to the City of Miami Beach, Florida.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 1st Day of March , 1989 .
