A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF LEASE
AGREEMENT WITH MIAMI BEACH INTERNATIONAL ANTIQUE,
CLASSIC AND SPORT CAR SHOW AND AUCTION, INC. FOR
THE USE OF HALLS A AND B IN THE STEPHEN MUSS
CONVENTION CENTER DECEMBER 27, 1989 - JANUARY 2 ,
1990.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, has been advised that
MIAMI BEACH INTERNATIONAL ANTIQUE CLASSIC AND
SPORT CAR SHOW AND ACTION, INC.
desires to lease certain premises and facilities of the City of
Miami Beach, to-wit:
HALLS A AND B IN THE STEPHEN MUSS CONVENTION CENTER
on
DECEMBER 27, 1989 - JANUARY 2 , 1990
for the event known as
MIAMI BEACH INTERNATIONAL ANTIQUE, CLASSIC
AND SPORT CAR SHOW AND AUCTION
AND WHEREAS, an appropriate lease agreement has been prepared
by the Stephen Muss Convention Center Director and approved as to
form by the City Attorney, and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has been advised of and is familiar
with the terms and provisions of the said lease agreement and deems
it to be in the best interest of the City to authorize the
execution of the said lease agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that the Mayor and the City Clerk be
and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute the above-
described lease agreement on behalf of the City, and that the
Stephen Muss Convention Center Director be and he is hereby
authorized and directed to carry into effect the terms and
provisions undertaken therein by the City.

EVENT: MIAMI BEACH INTERNATIONAL ANTIQUE, CLASSIC AND SPORT CAR
SHOW AND AUCTION
DATES: DECEMBER 27, 1989-JANUARY 2, 1990
AMOUNT: The lessee hereby covenants and agrees to pay the following
minimum rentals, or such higher rentals as shall become
effective on or before 120 days prior to the date lessee
takes occupancy under this lease; provided, however, that
lessee' s obligation with respect to such higher rentals sha l l
be limited to an increase of 12% over the following minimum
rentals :
$27,000.00 minimum guarantee, based on $13,500.00 per ha 1 l ,
plus 10% of gross receipts from sale of admission tickets
over $50,000.00 after taxes and $1 . 00 per chair for seating
setup and $1 .00 per table used, plus Florida State Rental
Tax, which is currently 6%.

CHARGES:
ADMINISTRATION Approve contract with Miami Beach International Antique,
RECOMMENDATION: Classic and Sport Car Show and Auction , Inc. for payment
