A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF ELECTRICAL
CONTRACT WITH EDLEN ELECTRICAL EXHIBITION
SERVICES, INC. FOR THE USE OF HALLS A AND B IN THE
STEPHEN MUSS CONVENTION CENTER APRIL 24-MAY 1,
1989 .
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, has been advised that
EDLEN ELECTRICAL EXHIBITION SERVICES, INC.
desires the right to set up electrical equipment in certain
premises and facilities of the City of Miami Beach, to-wit:
HALLS A AND B IN THE STEPHEN MUSS CONVENTION CENTER
on
APRIL 24-MAY 1, 1989
for the event known as
U.S. EXOTIC AND SPORT CAR SHOW
AND WHEREAS, an appropriate electrical contract has been
prepared by the Stephen Muss Convention Center Director and
approved as to form by the City Attorney, and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has been advised of and is familiar
with the terms and provisions of the said electrical contract and
deems it to be in the best interest of the City to authorize the
execution of the said electrical contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that the Mayor and the City Clerk be
and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute the above-
described electrical contract on behalf of the City, and that the
Stephen Muss Convention Center Director be and he is hereby
authorized and directed to carry into effect the terms and
provisions undertaken therein by the City.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 19th day of April , 19 89 .

Attached is electrical contract in triplicate with
Edlen Electrical Exhibition Services, Inc. for
payment of $500 minimum fee or 15% of gross receipts,
for the right to set up electrical agreement in
Halls A and B in the Stephen Muss Convention Center for
for the Exotic and Sport Car Show, April 24-May 1,
1989 .
If the form of this agreement meets with your approval ,
will you kindly prepare resolution authorizing its
execution by the City and forward to the City Manager
for presentation to the City Commission.
I concur with the terms of this contract and recommend
its approval .
