A RESOLUTION PROVIDING AUTHORITY FOR THE SIGNING OF VOUCHERS
DRAWN ON FUNDS IN THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH DEPOSITORIES
(RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 88-19340)
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That on and after the 19th day of April 1989, all withdrawals
of funds from the City of Miami Beach accounts in City
Depositories described as follows:
SOUTHEAST BANK, N.A.
Accounts "City of Miami Beach General Disbursement Account"
designated: "City of Miami Beach General Depository Account"
"City of Miami Beach Payroll Disbursing Account"
"City of Miami Beach Employees Retirement System
Trust Account"
"City of Miami Beach Unclassified Employees and
Elected Officials Retirement System Trust Account"
"City of Miami Beach as Trustee for Convention Center
Expansion Trust Account"
"Trustee for the City of Miami Beach Parking Revenue

With the further provision as to the accounts carried in Southeast
Bank, N.A. designated "City of Miami Beach General Disbursement Account", City of
Miami Beach General Depository Account", "City of Miami Beach Payroll Disbursing

Finance Director is hereby authorized to use said signatures in connection with
said accounts.
And with the further provision as to the accounts carried in Sun Bank
Miami/N.A. designated "City of Miami Beach Parking System Operation and
Maintenance Fund", withdrawals from which shall be on printed checks designated
"City of Miami Beach Parking System Operating and Maintenance Fund", each bearing
two signatures as above set forth, or bearing the signatures consisting of the
background and other identifying symbols and facsimile signatures as are
imprinted on the sample checks attached hereto and made a part hereof; and the
Finance Director is hereby authorized to use said signatures in connection with
said accounts.

And with the further provision as to the accounts carried in the Barnett
Bank of Miami, N.A. , designated "City of Miami Beach - Meter Account", "City of
Miami Beach Firemen's Relief and Pension Fund", withdrawals from which shall be
upon regular City of Miami Beach checks designated "City of Miami Beach - Meter
Account", "City of Miami Beach Firemen's Relief and Pension Fund", each bearing
two signatures as above set forth, or bearing the signature consisting of the
background and other identifying symbols and facsimile signatures, as are
imprinted on the sample check attached hereto and made a part hereof; and the
Finance Director is hereby authorized to use said signatures in connection with
said accounts.
And with the further provision as to the accounts carried in the
Intercontinental Bank, designated City of Miami Beach Social Service General
Assistance Account", "Risk Management Service Inc. Workmen's Comp. Claims for
City of Miami Beach", withdrawals of funds from which shall be on printed checks
designated "City of Miami Beach Social Service General Assistance Account", "Risk
Management Service Inc. Workmen's Comp. Claims for City of Miami Beach", each
bearing two signatures as above set forth or bearing the signatures consisting of
the background on the sample check attached hereto and made a part hereof; and
the Finance Director is hereby authorized to use said signatures in connection
with said accounts.
And with the further provision as to the accounts carried in the
Jefferson National Bank of Miami Beach, designated "City of Miami Beach Resort
Tax Fund Account" and "City of Miami Beach Legal Imprest Account", withdrawals of
funds from which shall be on printed checks designated "City of Miami Beach
Resort Tax Fund Account", and "City of Miami Beach Legal Imprest Account", each
bearing two signatures as above set forth, or bearing the signature consisting of
the background and other identifying symbols and facsimile signatures as are
imprinted on the sample check attached hereto and made a part hereof; and the
Finance Director is hereby authorized to use said signatures in connection with
said accounts.
And with the further provision as to the accounts carried in the NCNB
National Bank of Florida, designated "City of Miami Beach Community Development
Program Fund", "City of Miami Beach Rental Rehabilitation Program", "City of
Miami Beach Convention Center Trust Account", and "City of Miami Beach Recreation
Division Imprest Account", withdrawals of funds from which shall be on printed
checks designated "City of Miami Beach Community Development Program Fund", "City
of Miami Beach Rental Rehabilitation Program", City of Miami Beach Convention
Center Trust Account", and City of Miami Beach Recreational Division Imprest
Account" each bearing two signatures as above set forth; or bearing the signature
consisting of the background and other identifying symbols and facsimile
signatures as are imprinted on the sample check attached hereto and made a part
thereof; and the Finance Director is hereby authorized to use said signatures in
connection with said accounts.
SECTION 2: That said SOUTHEAST BANK/N.A. , INTERCONTINENTAL BANK, SUN BANK OF
MIAMI/N.A. , JEFFERSON NATIONAL BANK OF MIAMI, N/A, BARNETT BANK OF
MIAMI/N.A. , NCNB NATIONAL BANK OF FLORIDA, are hereby authorized and requested to
accept, honor and pay without further inquiry, and until delivery to it of
written notice of the revocation of the authority hereby granted, all checks and
other orders for the payment or withdrawal of money deposited with said banks in
the name of said City of Miami Beach, including checks drawn to the individual
order of the officers signing same and including also all such instruments
payable or endorsed to the order of the City of Miami Beach, when such checks or
other orders for money shall be signed or endorsed in the name of the City of
Miami Beach by its officers hereinbefore named.

SECTION 3: That Resolution No. 88-19340 adopted on the 7th day of September ,
1988, be and the same is hereby rescinded and that all other
resolutions or parts of resolution in conflict herewith be and the same are
hereby repealed.

SUBJECT: AUTHORIZATION IR SIGNING CHECKS AND WITHDRAWAL FORMS DRAWN ON
FUNDS IN THE VARIOUS BANKS AND BANKING INSTITUTIONS SERVING AS
DEPOSITORIES FOR THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH (RESCINDING RESOLUTION
NO. 88-19340) .
Due to changes in the Administrative staff, new signatures are
required in order to maintain functional continuity for the
purpose of signing checks and withdrawal forms as needed for
conducting City business.
The Proposed Resolutions affect bank accounts that the City
currently utilizes.
ADMINISTRATION RECOMMENDATION:
The Administration recommends that the City Commission approve
the attached Proposed Resolution for due and appropriate
notification to the various banks serving the City as deposi-
tories for City funds.
